Mini Muscles Kids Fitness Video
This video is recommended by the producers for children 5-10 years of age; however, we have two children under 5 (3 and 4 years old), and they have an absolute BLAST with this video! They are able to perform all of the exercises in the video, and it gives them a good workout! It not only gets them up and moving, but it also gives them positive nutritional messages as well. Even our 3 year old knows not to indulge too often in fatty, salty snacks- she walks around telling everybody Dr. Doubledip will get you if you eat too much of that stuff!!! Please consult your child's pediatrician prior to have any age child start exercising using this video.
Mini-Muscles is an animated workout adventure led by supermodel and fitness expert Cindy Crawford along with her team of "FitWits." The video seeks to inspire children to explore the "wild and wonderful world of fitness" by finding the eight keys to "get up and go." The message of Mini-Muscles is that the key to fitness is having fun and that exercising can be entertaining and enjoyable.
In a time when obesity is epidemic among our young people, the risk of heart disease in youth is on the rise and many kids are not active on a regular basis, Mini-Muscles offers children a way to exercise that is engaging as well as fun.
More about the video: The villainous couch potato, Dr. Doubledip, is robbing children everywhere of their "Get Up and Go," so it is up to Cindy and the gang to put a stop to it, saving the day by bringing fitness fun into their lives!
Join Cindy in her first animated adventure ever, with guest appearances by world-renowned personal trainer, Radu, and Cindy's gang of fitness enthusiasts, the Fit-Wits! From Africa, Puerto Rico, Los Angeles and the Brazilian Rain Forest to Mount Everest, Texa Japan and even the Planet Flex in outer space, Cindy and the gang show children just how much fun exercise can be.
Full of fast-paced action, music, and colorful settings, this is a fun and unique way for kids to learn about the importance and enjoyment of exercise, and even participate themselves as they join the gang for a workout!
Animated, approximately 30 min.
